I absolutely love working with Peppermint essential oil. This powerful, sweet smelling oil, with all of it’s uses and benefits, is a naturally occurring plant-based substance, that reminds me on a constant basis of the abundant resources of Mother Nature.
Peppermint oil takes me back to my childhood, around the holidays, with the minty sweet candy canes hanging from the Christmas tree as part of decoration. Or the way it adds a mint fresh sweet fragrance to an already sweet sugar cookie. I’ve met several people who use peppermint to help alleviate their headaches. It just works on so many levels.

Now that it’s flu season, I’ve been using peppermint oil with menthol in my Soothing Coconut Menthol Salve recipe to support the feeling of opening up my sinuses. My boyfriend also loves this salve and feels that it has helped him as he as been stuffy lately. This is not a cure or a remedy. But I do love the sinus relief it provides. I also use peppermint to help soothe dry cracked feet after a long day. When I apply this peppermint foot cream to my

feet before bed, I place a sock over them and in the morning my feet feel revived, and are soft and moisturized. I’ve gifted them to members of my family because I saw the wonders that it did for my feet, especially after a lengthy night shift. They love it. Not to mention it helps soften callouses as well. It’s my go to foot cream recipe because of all the good it does.
Order a peppermint foot cream or salve at The Loving Essence. I know you all will fall in love with these salves, foot creams, and more as well.
